Zannie R. Cooper, LFDE

Owner / Notary Public

Zannie R. Cooper, is  the Owner and LFDIC here at Cooper Funeral Home.  He has been the LFDIC for the past 45 plus years, taking over after the passing of his father. 

He is a notary public and a Pre-Need Consultant.  

He is a native and lifelong resident of Chipley, Florida and the spouse of Thawanda R. Crews. 

Jimmie L. Cooper

Notary / Pre-Need Consultant

Jimmie L. Cooper is the founder of Cooper Funeral Home along with her husband the late Zannie Cooper. She is a native of Marianna (Greenwood), Florida and has lived in Chipley, Florida for the past 60 years.   

She is the mother of Zannie R. Cooper, LFDE (Cooper Funeral Home, Chipley), Rayne J. Cooper-Cooks (Cooks-Cooper Funeral Home, Madison, FL), and the late Willis O. Cooper, LFDE (Cooper Funeral Home, Lake City, FL).   

She is a Notary Public,  a florist, owning Cooper's Florist, and a member of many civic organization's.  Jimmie is a member of the Mt. Ararat First Missionary Baptist Church and occasionally serves as a pianist. 

Thawanda Renee Crews

Office Manager / Sr. Funeral Associate

Thawanda Renee Crews has been apart of Cooper Funeral Home since 1985. She is one of the Office Managers and is the Data Entry Clerk and is a Sr. Funeral Associate.

She is a native and lifelong resident of Chipley, Florida and a member / ministry leader at the Yes Lord Deliverance Ministries, Inc. of Chipley, Florida.

Thawanda is the spouse of Zannie R. Cooper, LFDE. 

D.Alexzander Potter

Licensed Funeral Director/Operations Manager

Damion Alexzander Potter has been apart of Cooper Funeral since the age of six (now 25 years old) and continues to serve diligently along side his family. He is a Licensed Funeral Director in the State of Florida and serves as Operations Manager.

He is a native of Chipley, Florida and the son of Rasheida Potter; grandson of  Zannie & Thawanda Renee (Crews) Cooper.

D.Alexzander is a member and ministry leader at the Yes Lord Deliverance Ministries, Inc. of Chipley, Florida.

Rasheida Patrick

Office Manager / Funeral Associate

Rasheida L. Patrick is a native of Chipley, Florida and the daughter of Zannie & Thawanda Renee (Crews) Cooper and Phillip Potter, Sr.  

She is a Lady Funeral Associate and  Office Manager and a member / ministry leader at the Yes Lord Deliverance Ministries, Inc. of Chipley, Florida. 

Rasheida is the mother of D.Alexzander Potter and Brysun Patrick, and grandmother to Kian Ray-Alexzander Patrick. 

Justyce Potter

Funeral Associate

Justyce R. Potter  is a native and lifelong resident of Chipley, Florida.

 She is the daughter of Phillip Potter, Jr., and Stacey Potter; granddaughter of Zannie & Thawanda Renee (Crews) Cooper. 

Justyce is currently in college, taking classes to receive her A.S. Degree in Mortuary Science.

She is a member of the Yes Lord Deliverance Ministries, Inc. of Chipley, Florida. 

James Shackelford

Sr. Funeral Associate

Dea. James Shackelford  is a native and lifelong resident of Chipley, Florida and has been employed with Cooper Funeral Home for the past 25 years.  

He serves as a Sr. Funeral Associate and serves as a deacon and usher at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Chipley, Florida.  

Chester Campbell

Funeral Associate

Chester Campbell, a native of Chipley, FL, has been a Funeral Associate with Cooper Funeral Home & Florist for 20+ years. 

He is a Deacon at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Chipley, FL and retired from the City of Chipley. 

Chester is the husband to Mary (Boston) Campbell and father to two beautiful daughters and grandfather to a host of grands & great-grands. 

Donna Green

Funeral Associate

Donna Green is a native of Vernon, Florida and been employed with Cooper Funeral Home & Florist since 2017.  

  She is a Deaconess at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Argyle, FL. 

Donna is the wife to Bobby Green and mother to Audrey & Bobby, Jr.

Logan Watson

Funeral Associate

Logan Watson, a native of Chipley, FL has been employed with Cooper Funeral Home & Florist since 2019.

He is the husband of Ashley Watson and father to two beautiful children. 

Mack Campbell

Funeral Associate

Mack Campbell, a native of Chipley, FL, has been a Funeral Associate with Cooper Funeral Home & Florist for numerous years. 

He is a member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
