Obituary
In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Veronica Mary Johnson, of Vernon, Florida, on August 24,2023 in the comfort of her home. She was 81 years old and a native of New York.
Veronica was born on May 23, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to Roy Smith and Marion Lake. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Lee Roy Johnson. Veronica had a love for trucks, and chose to become a truck driver for numerous years, even passing down the love to her daughter, Cathy.
Veronica was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother: Donald Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories two children: Catherine Todd (Steve) of Vernon, Florida, and Michael Rahn (Janine) of Massapequa, New York; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
