In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mr. Stacy Bernard Broxton on April 4, 2021 in Caryville, FL. He was 60 years old.
Stacy was born on November 30, 1960 in Bonifay, Florida to Hilery Jefferson "HJ" & Eula (McKinnie) Broxton. His father preceded him in death.
He received his formal education in the Washington County Public School System and graduated from Vernon High School in the Class of 1978. Stacey gave his life to Christ at an early age and attended St. Mary A.M.E. Church in Caryville, FL. He enjoyed singing and would often sing lead as an active member of the choir. Stacy had a beautiful voice and would frequently be called upon by his aunt Margie Brown to showcase his talent by singing at his family's home church, St. Joseph A.M.E. Church in Chipley, FL.
Stacy was passionate about many things, including family, and the love for his community. He rarely met a stanger and was known to strike up a conversation at any time, with anyone. He had a warm sense of humor which highlighted his gentle personality. Following in the footsteps of his father, Stacy worked as a contractor throughout the Tri-County area and was known by many. He loved his tractor "Kubota".
