In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Ms. Ruth Ann Jenkins, of Bradenton, Florida, on June 25, 2021 in the Emory St. Joseph Hospital of Atlanta, Georgia. She was 66 years old and a native of Ebro, Florida.
Ruth Ann was born on July 29, 1954 to the parentage of Bishop Richard & Mother Ella R. (Douglas) Jenkins in Ebro, Florida. She was educated in the public school system of Washington County, Florida and worked in the Prison System for numerous years as a librarian. Being raised in a Christian home, Ruth had a devout relationship with the Lord. She was a member of Westcoast- The Center for Human Development in Sarasota, Florida.
She leaves to cherish her memories three beloved daughters: Detra Warren of Lynn Haven, Florida, Tammy Hampton (Cedric) of Panama City, Florida, and Katrina Warren of Stone Mountain, Georgia; six grandchildren & five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Annie Ruth (Charles) Davis of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Dorothy (Manuel) Pichardo of Vernon, Florida; brother: Bishop Richard Jenkins, Jr. of Lynn Haven, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
