In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mother Mamie G. Fisher, on December 29, 2022, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was 97 years old and a life long native of Gulf County, Florida.
Mother Fisher was blessed with the breath of life on July 1, 1925, to the parentage of Henry & Lula Williams. Being raised in a Christian home, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and would become a member of Faison Temple Church of Christ Written in Heaven, Inc. under the leadership of the late Bishop Walter Williams.
Mother Fisher was well known to the community as a Midwife and has delivered many of the residents of Wewahitchka. She was a devoted wife until the passing of her husband. Mother Fisher truly loved her family and was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother.
Mother Fisher was preceded in death by her parents, and husband: Emmanuel Fisher, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Solomon Fisher of New York, New York, Dorothy Gather of Panama City, Florida, Maretta (Frank) Early of Wewahitchka, Florida, Emmanuel (Brenda) Fisher, Jr. of Port St. Joe, Florida; adopted daughter: Freda Gray of Wewahitchka, Florida; one sister: Missionary Dorothy (Bishop Charlie) Wells of New York, New York; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
