In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mother Hilda Mae Brown, of Vernon, FL. She was 96 years old and a life-long native of Vernon.
Mother Brown was born on March 24, 1924 to the late Lesley & LouElla (Hannah) Potter in Millers Ferry, Florida. Being raised in a Christian home, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She was a member of the Jackson Community Road Church of Christ of Vernon, FL and was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters: Earnestine Lee of Vernon, FL, and Bettye (Thomas) McKinnie of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one son: Shelby (Ossie M.) Brown of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; three sisters: Annie Mae (Alvin) Brown, Ruth (Cecil, Jr.) Hill, both of Vernon, FL, and Alma Bell of Panama City. FL; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In consideration to public health & safety, the usage / wearing of a facial covering is required to attend the Public Viewing & Celebration of Life.
