In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Martha Jean Boston,of Chipley, Florida, on August 17, 2022 after a brief illness in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old and a lifelong native of Washington County, Florida.
She was born to parents Samuel Thomas Parker and Mable Parker on September 26, 1941. She attended Roulhac High School in Chipley, Florida.
Martha accepted Christ at an young age and was a faithful member of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Chipley, Florida where she served in the Senior Usher Board, Senior Choir, and Deaconess until her declining health no longer permitted.
Martha was married to the late Donald Lee Boston.
She is survived by six children: Terrance Boston (Belinda), Gerry Boston, Kerry Boston, Sabrina Boston, LaShaunda Tanner (Jim) and Brandon Boston. She was preceded in death by two children: Phyllis Wright and Lorenzo Merriel.
Martha is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
