In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mr. Lennon Harold Britt on February 18, 2023 in the comfort of his home. Lennon was given the precious gift of life on June 27, 1961, in Port St. Joe Florida to David and Ruthie M. Britt. His father unfortunately passed away earlier in his life.
In 1968, the family moved to Miami when Lennon was 7 years old. He grew up with 11sibling. He attended Miami Springs Middle School and Miami Northwestern High School where he developed lifelong friendships and an appreciation for learning. In 1984, he relocated to his mother’s hometown Wewahitchka, Florida. He built a beautiful life surrounded by his son Noah, relatives, and friends that he loved.
Lennon was a hardworking man with a kind and gentle heart. He did not hesitate to help anyone and everyone that needed his help. He enjoyed being with his family, working with his hands, reading books, and looking at movies. During his life, he touched so many lives and created precious memories that will be cherished by his family and friends for years to come.
Our lovely Lennon was called home on Saturday, February 18, 2023. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Tom and Delcear Ass and Daniel and Roxy Britt; and two brothers: Joel Britt and Jerome Britt
He leaves behind a lifetime of love and precious memories with his mother: Ruthie M. Britt; son: Noah Britt; sisters: Althea Bromell (Theodore), Beatrice Britt (Jean), Sherri Britt Bromell (Don), Sabrina Britt Shaw (Willie); brothers: Gary Britt (Vernethia), Wilbert Britt (Cecilia), David Britt, Eric Britt (Sheree) and Mikal Britt; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
