In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Deacon Isaac Brown, of Vernon, Florida on April 19, 2023 in the Bay Medical Center of Panama City, Florida. He was 73 years old and a native of Washington County, FL.
Deacon Brown was blessed with the breath of life on March 20, 1951 to the parentage of Bufford Brown and Mary Callins in Washington County, Florida. He was reared in a Christian home, and accepted Christ as his personal Savior. Deacon Brown was a faithful member of Johnson Temple First Born Church where he served faithfully. Deacon Brown also served as the Diocese Deacon of the Greater West Florida FBC Diocese.
Deacon Brown was educated in the public school system of Washington County, Florida and would graduate from Roulhac High School. He also enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and served faithfully until receiving an honorable discharge. He would later become a Sr. Engineer Tech 2 with the U.S Naval Base in Panama City, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Dorothy Brown of Vernon, Florida; 11 children: Isaac (Evelyn) Brown, Jr. of Plant City, Florida, Izrael Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, Ursula (Jermaine) Robinson, Ashely Brown, Bridgett Jackson, all of Clarksville, Tennessee, Jason (Keisha) Carswell of Vernon, Florida, Charles Samuel Gaither of Tallahassee, Florida, Alford (Shanita) McKinnon of Panama City, Florida, Monica "Sugar" (Baboucar) Mbye of Tampa, Florida, Tara (Jayce) Allen of Atlanta, Georgia, and LaToya "Pudgy"(Craig) Myers of Panama City, Florida; three siblings: Ferman Brown of Bonifay, Florida, Phyllis (Frank) Brown of Panama City, Florida and Ethel (William) Brown-Oney of Vernon, Florida; aunt: Margie Brown of Chipley, Florida; four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law; along with a host of grands, other relatives and friends.
