Darrell Larvon Vann

    In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mr. Darrell Larvon Vann, of Wewahitchka, Florida, on June 18, 2023 in Panama City, Florida.  He was 49 years old and a native of Gulf County Florida.

    "DAGO", as he was affectionately known was born on April 25, 1974 to the parentage of Leroy Yarrell and Bernice Vann in Panama City, Florida.  Being raised in a Christian home, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was reared in the Faison Temple Church of Christ Written in Heaven.  DAGO was an exceptional barber, and a very debonair gentleman.  He always had a smile and was a joyable person to be around.  He was educated in the Gulf County Public School System. 

    He leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Bernice (Deacon James) Hand of Wewahitchka, Florida; son: Angel Vann of California; two god-children: Ava Wimberly of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Chance Lewis of Wewahitchka. Florida; siblings: erica Scott of Panama City, Florida, Walter Wright, Robert Wright, both of Wewahitchka, Florida, Leroy Yarrell, Jr., Rico Yarrell, LaTrina McNeal, Emma Yarrell, and Kayla Yarrell, all of Port St. Joe, Florida; along with a large host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
