Carrie Lucille Davis was born on September 14, 1942 to the late Johnny and Marie (Mosley) Davis in Washington County, Florida.
Carrie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on December 17, 1983 and served faithfully until her death.
She worked with the Washington County School District at Chipley High School in the lunchroom for many years until she retired.
She died September 6, 2022 in the Washington Nursing & Rehab. Center of Chipley, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Brown, and her son, Cleveland Brown.
She leaves behind two children: John (Lynn) Brown of Chipley, FL, and Bertina Casady of Tallahassee, FL; two grandchildren: Makaela (Samuel) Chason of Chipley, FL and Duncan Casady of Havana, FL; great-grandson: Andrew Chason of Chipley, FL; two sisters: Catherine Sheffield of Chipley, FL, and Bertha Mae Bowen of Albany, NY; two brothers-in-law: Isaac (Dorothy) Brown of Vernon, FL, and Fermon Keys Brown of Bonifay, FL; two sisters-in-law: Ethel (Gene) Oney of Vernon, FL and Phyllis Brown of Panama City, FL; and a large number of other relatives and friends.
