Calvin Eugene Carswell

    In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mr. Calvin Eugene Carswell, of Chipley, Florida, on August 28, 2022 in the Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center of Panama City, Florida. He was 69 years old and a native of Washington County, Florida. 

    Calvin was blessed with the breath of life on September 20, 1952 in Washington County, Florida to the parentage of Howard Carswell and Sylvia Jean Smith.  Being reared in a Christian home, he was accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was of the Holiness Faith.  Calvin was a truck driver by trade and served in the National Guard for a brief period of time.  

    He leaves to cherish his memories three children: Katrina Carswell, and Vanessa Carswell, both of Chipley, Florida, and Christopher Carswell of Vernon, Florida; three sisters: Gladys Wagner, Maxzie (Bennie) Giles and Cora (Roger) Brown, all of Chipley, Florida; brother: Louis (Helen) Carswell of Panama City, Florida; 5 grandchildren; god-daughter: Lanyhia Hogans; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
