Arthur Terrell Addison, Sr.

    In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mr. Arthur Terrell Addison, Sr., of Port St. Joe, Florida, on August 24, 2023 in Panama City, Florida in the comfort of his daughter's residence.  He was 66 years old and a native of Gulf County, Florida. 

    Arthur was born on May 9, 1957 to the parentage of Arthur Addison and Miniris Koonce Addison in Port St. Joe, Florida.  He was educated in the school system of Gulf County, Florida and was a 1975 graduate of Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School.  Growing up Arthur would assist his father in the family business of digging bait for 18 years.  He later would become employed with Arizona Chemical where he would be a factory worker and later retire.  He was United  in Holy Matrimony to Christine McNealy and to this union four children were reared.  Arthur was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

    He was preceded in death by his father: Arthur Addison; and sister: Gail Faye Bell.  

    He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife of 40+ years: Christine McNealy Addison of Panama City, Florida; four loving children: Arthur T. (Sheteta) Addison, Jr. of Phoenix City, Alabama, Sharetta Addison (Walter) of Panama City, Florida, Quinnetta (Derrell) Riley of New Port Richie, Florida, and Krystal Addison of Panama City, Florida; 14 grandchildren: Jayln Croom, Zaire Weldon, Jahrious Speights, Skylah Addison, Shinah Addison, Shanquetta Lewis, Jacorien Thomas, Shatobia Thomas, Tracian Williams, Marsheba Addison, Claude Thomas, IV, Deja Croom, Pierre Hall, Jr., and Ivyanna Morgan; 15 great-grandchildren; seven sisters: Rev. Sandra (Min. Charles) McNair of Tallahassee, Florida, Cynthia Hughley of Detriot, Michigan, Debra Addison of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Delois (O.C.) Williams of Quincy, Florida, Sharon (Rowlis) Leslie of Port St. Joe, Florida, Angela King of Panama City, Florida and Dawanna Addison of Miami, Florida; brothers: Dale Addison (Patty Duke) of Port St. Joe, Florida, Kendrick Addison, and Patrick Briggs both of Panama City, Florida;.  god-children: Courtnet Lenox, Jarrod "Bo" Lenox, Sr., and Asia Whitley; best-friend; Willie D. Lenox; along with a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
