Alvin Lucious Brown

    In humble submission to the will of God we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mr. Alvin Lucious Brown, of Vernon, Florida, on April 28, 2022, in the Gulf Coast Medical Center of Panama City, Florida.  He was 93 years old and a life-long native of Washington County, Florida. 

    Alvin was blessed with the breath of life on February 2, 1929, to the parentage of Lucious Brown and Mary Lilla Jackson Brown in Millers Ferry, Florida. Being reared in a Christian home, he learned of Christ and later in his life accepted Christ as his personal Savior.  He was a member of the Church of Christ in Vernon, Florida under the leadership of Bro. Eli Andrews. 

    He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife: Annie Mae (Potter) Brown of Vernon, Florida; loving children: Ronnie W. (Felicia) Brown, Reginald J. (Sandra) Brown, both of Vernon, Florida, Don A. (Stephanie) Brown of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Ola C. Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, Celestine Jackson of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Eli (Brenda) Andrews, Jr., of Freeport, Florida, Willie Lee (Susie) Potter of Ebro, Florida, Sandra (LaRau) Jackson of Red Bay, Florida, and Demetrius Jackson of Columbus, Georgia; along with a large host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
