Allie V. Leath

January 18, 1939 ~ January 18, 2022 (age 83)


    In humble submission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Allie V. Leath on January 18, 2022 in the Bonifay Nursing and Rehab. Center of Bonifay, Florida.  She was 83 years old. 

    Allie was blessed with the breath of life on January 18, 1939 to the parentage of the late Hosie Thomas, Sr., and Lucile Brown in Bethlehem, Florida.  

      Being raised in a Christian home, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of the St. Peter M.B. Church of Slocomb, Alabama.  Allie was blessed to be untied in Holy Matrimony to Theodis H. Leath in 1960 and together they built a family and raised their children &  grandchildren with love and care. Allie love to take care of people and was a care provider for many years offering selfless love and service to those in need. She also was a seamstress for many years and loved to garden and go fishing.  

      Although she is gone, she will forever be in the hearts of her beloved children: Waymon E. (Gwendolyn) Leath of Evans, Georgia, Samuel L. (Jeanette) Leath, Charles Leath both of Columbus, Ohio, and Marjorie Buvose of Jacksonville, Florida; two special great-granddaughters: Shala Williamson of Evans, Georgia, and Alexis Stokely of Grovetown, Georgia; a large host of grandchildren & great-grandchildren; brother: Eddie Thomas of Noma, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
