On November 4, 1971, God granted Viola Works and Robert Peterson the privilege to birth and raise a loving, gentle spirit, and genuine soul,  whose name would be John Lorenza Works, Sr.

Being raised in a Christian home, John accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was reared in the St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church of Caryville, Florida.  Education was instilled in John at an early age, pushing him to graduate in the Vernon High School Class of 1989.

Although his presence is no longer. his memories will be forever cherished in the hearts of everyone that he encountered.
